equipment reviews! I've been meaning to do them for awhile but time for the blog has been lacking between school and training. Alas, better late than never.

Between the Durin Race MD100R fork and the Marta SL brakes, I've been completely happy with Magura's parts and customer service. After having many many issues with forks over the last year I'm beyond impressed with the usability, maintenance, and plushness of the fork. The remote lock-out is super easy to use, as well, and I actually do use it...unlike other lock-outs I've seen. I like it rigid going up and plush going down. Even when it's not locked out, though, I don't feel like I'm wasting any energy climbing. The brakes...they are phenomenal, too. Yes, I like the custom paint job, but more than that, they are so smooth and have great modulation..to be honest, mine haven't even needed to be re-bled at all and they still feel great.
Customer service, as with all our sponsors, is great with Magura. It was a pleasure to meet them in person at Interbike this year and they are very cool! Thanks, Magura!
