Fall, Southern X, 2010, and Kliniks
So far, Fall training has been going pretty well. Kristen Dieffenbach is writing my training plans while Kyle O'Day has been writing my strength training plan. I'm sore everyday, which is a welcome change. The collegiate CX season has been pretty much a bust in the SECCC. 3 out of 5 races were canceled, now there are two left..Johnson City, TN next weekend and Brevard College the following weekend. If nothing else, I'd like to make it to the Brevard race just so that gives me an excuse to ride some mountain bikes in Pisgah..I haven't been there in 2 years! Lame.
I've also been planning 2010 races. Once I have things figured out with Dr. Coach, I'll post my schedule. I have a few races that I'm definitely doing, including Ouachita Challenge with the Topeak-Ergon crew. Yes!! I was really bummed to have missed it last year because of work. And, in case you haven't heard, Southern Cross registration is open and limited to 150 racers this year. It is a new location, new course, but will be just as awesome as it was last year.
Klinik planning is also in full force for the off-season. Expect to see Kliniks in Georgia, Michigan, and very possibly in Ohio and Tennessee. Look for the fliers in the near future..
I only have 4 weeks left of my first semester of Grad School..unbelievable! I think I might actually make it. It's still possible to get all A's too, which would make me really very happy since when I started, I had doubts that I would even pass some of these classes! 3-4 weeks off in December will definitely feel well deserved.
